European Fuel Cell - Piero Lunghi Conference 2011
CONFERENCE AT A GLANCE
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
The conference is an exciting opportunity for professors, researchers, students, industrials, policy makers and anyone directly or indirectly involved in fuel cell technologies who wants to be up-dated on the state of the art of fuel cells and non-conventional fuels, their implementation and deployment.
CONFERENCE SCOPE
The European Fuel Cell Technology & Applications – Piero Lunghi Conference intends to outline the international state of the art of fuel cells and to provide short, medium and long-term visions on research and development in the field, as well as on market opportunities, global policies and future energy scenarios.
The conference aims to reply to the several open questions which continue to challenge the fuel cell world. It will be our target to provide a clear picture of the status of fuel cells, to consolidate the vision and reframe strategies and objectives, and to promote systematic collaboration between industry, research institutions, customers and society.
AREAS OF INTEREST
Topics cover all fuel cell technologies with a particular focus on applications.
The following list summarizes the main topics, though it only serves to give some ideas and is not comprehensive.
- Materials and Fabrication Processes
- Cell, Stack, System Modeling
- System and Balance of Plant Design and Optimization
- Lab and Field Tests and Market or Real‐life Applications
- Fuel Processing and Non-Conventional Fuels
- New ideas, Non‐conventional Fuel Cells and Niche Applications
- Technical-Economical and Environmental analysis
- Policy and cross-cutting on Fuel Cells
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
A short Abstract is a 400-word concise summary of the research that will be presented at the conference. It should be organised so as to give a complete, yet concise, understanding of the research's basic contents and findings. The following elements should be included: the purpose of the study, research methods/methodology, observed results and the innovation contributed.
The short abstract must be submitted to the EFC11 website through on-line submission system no later than 01 April, 2011.
All short abstracts will be reviewed by the Track Managers assigned by Scientific Committee of the EFC11, and reviewing results will be announced by emailing a notice of acceptance/rejection by 02 May, 2011.
Accepted short abstract's authors will be required to submit an extended abstract as following step: you can check the "pubblication schedule" page to get further information.
PUBBLICATION INFORMATION
All the accepted papers will be published in a book of abstract that will be distributed to all conference attenders.
Selected papers will be given the opportunity to publish in the international journal "International Journal of Hydrogen Energy" (IJHE): all the submitted full papers will go through the regular review process of the Journal.
